Validus^LM were appointed by the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames to identify a site for a new secondary school. The review ultimately identified the opportunity to partner with Richmond upon Thames College to create a new masterplan for their site. This allowed the College to plan much needed new facilities by disposing of land to the council for a new secondary school and renewal of a SEN school. Other disposals including sale of land to a residential developer and allocation of land for commercial office space, together with application for grant funding, made the programme viable.

Our work involved: the completion of a detailed feasibility study and robust site masterplan; facilitating all of the legal arrangements for disposals and delivering of projects; achieving an Outline Planning Consent for the development, including an Environmental Impact Assessment and legal arrangements.
